I know a first visit can feel like a lot. My goal is simple: listen to your concerns, understand your history, and give you a clear picture of your oral health before we talk about any treatment. You should leave feeling informed, not pressured.
Your first visit at Ranunculus Dental starts with a conversation about your goals and health history, followed by an exam tailored to your needs. Please bring photo ID, insurance or membership details, medications list, and recent x-rays if available. I explain what I find and recommended next steps so you leave informed.
Please arrive a few minutes early. Bring photo ID, insurance or membership information if applicable, a list of current medications, and recent dental x-rays if you have them from another office. That helps us start with a complete picture.
Your visit includes a conversation about your goals, health history, and an exam tailored to your needs. I explain what I see, what I recommend, and why - so you understand your care and feel confident in your decisions.
Imaging depends on your history and what we need to evaluate. Digital x-rays, photos, or digital scans may be used when they support accurate diagnosis and planning.
You are not alone. Tell us about past experiences and any fears. We can discuss nitrous oxide, oral conscious sedation, or general sedation with an MD anesthesiologist when appropriate so you can receive care comfortably.
If treatment is recommended, I outline options, timing, and what to expect next. There is no pressure to decide everything in one visit - especially for complex care. We plan at a pace that works for you.
